Posted on 23. Jan, 2011 by in Adventures in Play

It’s a Vulcan Immersion Invasion!!

The first round of Playshops and teachers we’re announcing this week is for Toy Camp.  Please, toss your props in the air and give it up for…Noel Yee, Richard Hartnell and Kyle Johnson from the Vulcan!  These guys are bringing their diverse and innovative talents for teaching and playing to PLAY Immersion and we are so happy they’re joining us!

Over the next few days we’ll be doing a “feature the teacher” thing complete with playshop descriptions and more.

It’s a pretty extensive list of playshops that they’re offering.

Hi Valos! There are so many great playshops, it’s going to be hard to pick which ones to join in! We’ll be listing detailed descriptions of each playshop this week, but here’s a little preview!

How much should I charge? How do I get gigs? Can I really earn my rent on the street? How can I travel and lodge for cheap – or free? Come spend some time with a full-time flow artist and figure out how to turn hours spent on the burger line into hours spent at the juggling festival.

Wow, sounds like some great shops from a top-notch gang. For my own clarification, when we say “The Business of Object Manipulation,” does this mean the concepts and practices of making money from your skills? Sounds like a must-attend. Can’t wait. =D
